Join GPAC.The Georgia Police Accreditation Coalition exists to improve the quality and delivery of law enforcement services to the citizens of its communities, by endorsing and assisting in the processes of national accreditation and state certification. GPAC provides technical assistance to agencies in all phases of accreditation and certification, from file setup and documentation to policy and procedure writing. GPAC provides thorough, three-day mock onsite assessments for CALEA accreditation, with detailed reporting. Its membership also provides the assessors who conduct the mock/actual onsite assessments for state certification as administered by the Georgia Association of Chiefs of Police. GPAC meets six times each year, in the months of February, April, June, August, October and December. At most meetings, a training session is offered which provides P.O.S.T.-approved training hours to the participating officers. Annual dues for GPAC membership are $50 per agency, payable in advance for new members. To join, click here, print out the form that appears, fill it out, and mail it with a check to: P.O. Box 607 Rex, GA 30273 After joining, your agency's name and other information will be added to the mailing list for meeting announcements, to the roster on this website, and to the printed roster distributed at each meeting.
